Hey everyone. I know I haven't posted anything in a long time and I am sorry for that. I'm gonna try my best to keep up and post as often as I can.

I haven't had much time honestly to even go out and take photos recently. I just started a new job and that takes up a lot of my schedule. Also I am working on a new project and only some of it is actually photo related at all. It is mostly a paint and sculpture project reflecting on our modern times of technology and the Disney corporation. Yes I did say Walt Disney. I know it might sound weird but it all ties together rather nicely actually. Who would think ipods and flying elephants had anything in common?

I actually just finished one of the works that might be part of the project so I will post it to show you guys.

New Studio

So I just found out that a very good friend of mine and artist is finalizing the paperwork for her own studio space in Chicago tomorrow. It's exciting! I'm going with her tomorrow morning to take a look at the place and give my opinion of it and maybe help move in a little bit.

From what she tells me it sounds like a great place. She's on the fourth floor of an old warehouse in Bridgeport. We've been looking in that area for some time and I'm glad she found her own space.

Now for my space...

Headache

Ugh my head hurts. Been spending the last couple days looking at studio space with a friend of mine. I think it's about time I get my own studio. Today we have been doing most of our research online and its a pain. So much information to take in at once. I need a break. I think it's time to take some photos.

Saturday I was busy running around all day and Sunday I had a headache that made me want to kill myself.

Drunk on a Friday!

Tonight I went to 3rd Fridays at the Zhou B Art Center in Bridgeport and the booze selection was amazing!!! Also the art wasn't bad either.

Ok I'm kidding but seriously the artwork there was amazing! I was blown away by the work and the people there were incredibly friendly. I especially enjoyed seeing the photographers there; something I regret not seeing in Pilsen.

Tonight I also borrowed my friend T3i to take with me and I got some interesting photos. No i did not photograph the artwork and no I did not photograph the actual party. Instead I focused on the building itself and different elements I saw inside the building easy to neglect.
